Cuba?

Cuba, of all places, just gave up smoking.

The country whose main export is of the supposedly highest-quality cigars known to man just abolished smoking except in designated smoking areas because they acknowledged the health risks of tobacco. If Cuba, who makes most of their money off of exports of their cigars, can know this, why can't we? Why can't we abolish tobacco altogether? Why can't we make it a drug just like everything else that you can get addicted to? I just don't see how Cuba can take the forefront on this, but good job. At least you might make an impact on the rest of the world.

"Cuban President Fidel Castro, who gave up smoking years ago, once joked about giving away boxes of cigars, saying "the best thing to do is give them to your enemy.""

What a guy.
