What a day for the U.S. Military!

First, kids from a Jesuit school decided to run a fundraiser - Adopt a Sniper. The motto? 1 Shot 1 Kill No Remorse I Decide. Nice.

Then a 3-star Marine general, in a moment of frankness and candor, said it was fun shooting people in Iraq. "It's a hell of a hoot."

Ok, you can stay there. Send all the ones who don't want to be there home.

This whole military attitude of kill first, make peace later is ridiculous. "No Remorse I Decide"? You decide who dies? Not your commanding officer? That's a little terrifying. And "It's a hell of a hoot" killing people in Iraq? I'm glad you're having fun. You can do that in a video game. Maybe you should be playing SoCom or CS or something to have your fun. Why don't you try that?
