Goddamn I'm tired of Terri Schiavo
So I wouldn't normally care so much, but this is the first time this situation has EVER gotten this much attention. Honestly it's really getting fucking ridiculous. The government has no right to interfere in shit like this. Thank you very much to the FOUR DIFFERENT COURTS who have upheld the husband's case. I understand the parents love their daughter, but she's not coming back. Stop putting everybody through this, especially her. You've removed and put back her feeding tube 3 times already. Do you honestly think she wants to live like this? Besides, it's easy for you. It's probably not costing you anything that she'll be in the hospital for the next 50 years. The worst part is that the government's passing the fastest legislation they ever have so they can get the case to the federal courts (where it was again rejected like 3 times) instead of doing anything constructive. They've blown the whole damn thing way out of proportion and now this family's on the front page of every paper and news site around the country. Even fucking Yahoo news carries the damn story. All the sudden the parents don't respect what is the husband's legal right and a case that is like HUNDREDS OF OTHERS gets a billion times more attention. And because it gets attention, Washington has decided to step in. And because Washington has decided to step in, it gets attention. FUCK the cycle. Goddamn it, Bush, stay out of a man's decision about his own fucking wife. Republicans like small government, remember? Not Big Brother government. And goddamn the parents for forcing the husband into this situation. He's trying to fucking keep his wife from suffering any more and now thanks to you guys he has protesters that will probably paint his front door red once she dies. And on top of this I have two tests like 14 hours apart and I haven't studied for the second one yet. Fuck this major, fuck this government, and fuck this update.
